10.000 miles on a machine

During the summer of 2016 I planned a 10,000 mile motorcycle trip around the continental United States and parts of Canada. The route was loosely planned around 21 national parks, and traversed 19 states and 2 of Canada's provinces. While I had a rigid timeline, I left plenty of room for improvisation along the way. The ride lasted five weeks, three and a half solo, and the remainder with my father. I planned the excursion on almost entirely back roads with camping spots scouted day by day.

It was freeing.
